WHAT???????

I'm going to make this quick.

Got pregnant again naturally end of August. Realized I was pregnant end of September. First ultrasound at 6w2d shows one baby - measuring on track with a good heartbeat.

Fast forward four weeks to ultrasound #2....

"One baby? Really? Your last ultrasound only showed one baby? I see two."

I SEE TWO.

11 weeks today. WITH TWO BABIES. Natural twins that are doing well so far. Twins do not run in my family.

Yeah, this calls for another blog.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with my story - my daughter was an IVF baby, after four years of trying.

I'm in shock.

Nothing more to say. Pure, utter shock.

HOLY EFFEN-GUACAMOLE!

I'm going to say this, which is uber unpopular, and I may even break out of my laziness to post about it.

I hate to say it but this has happened to nearly everyone on my blog roll. Almost everyone.

So I'm going to say it. Somthing, yes, something seems to happen after a girl's been pregnant. And that "something" may be very scientific, indeed. Perhaps it's just the hormone surge and the body "righting" itself (yeah, that sounds scientific, eh?) but it's just too damned coincidental that AFTER a pregnancy that's been sought FOREVER and after tens of thousands invested into assisted reproductive technology, a woman (always under 40, with good fallopian tubes and a normal sex partner) seems to "magically" get pregnant naturally.

Something tells me there's something to it - something the pregnancy sparks. It's all I can surmise - otherwise, it's FAR too much a coincidence that it's happened to so many women that I personally followed for so long in their struggles.

Aside all that BS - CONGRATULATIONS in a huge way. I am completely thrilled for you. Woo Hoo!

Twins!!!

Wow!

Sky (No Eggs in this Basket) - lazy and didn't even feel like logging in ;)

Holy moly!!! Yay you!!! I haven't checked the blogs in forever be wise I am so darn busy with three girls (blessed!!!)...but I just popped on and read this! Congratulations! That is amazing. And, twins are definitely doable! They are amazing...and oddly, the pregnancy wasn't all that bad...until my knees went, it was way easier than my first (singleton) pregnancy.
